Undergraduate Fall Registration

The following information is intended to aid students in registering for the Fall Term (2101). Questions? Please contact the undergraduate administrator located in 648 BENDM, at undrmems@pitt.edu or (412) 624-9780.

Registration in Seminar

Fall Term registration will take place during seminar at 11:00am in room G23 PUBHL. Please come prepared to submit your spring enrollment form. Registration information and materials are available below (see registration tools). Advisors will be on hand to answer scheduling questions and sign enrollment forms.

Registration for those who do not attend seminar

If you're unable to attend the registration seminar because of a conflict, you may submit your completed and signed (by both you and your advisor) enrollment form to Brittany Guthrie (648 Benedum Hall) on March 17 or thereafter. Registration information and materials are available below (see registration tools).

registration for those Currently on a Co-op rotation

If you're unable to register in person during normal business hours because you're currently on a co-op rotation, there are other registration options available: 1) download the enrollment form, complete and sign, then fax to (412) 624-4846; or 2) download the enrollment form, complete and sign, convert to an electronic file, then email to Shannon Kelley undrmems@pitt.edu. Your advisor's signature might be quite difficult to get so, don't worry about it - I'll take care of that part. Registration information and materials are available below (see registration tools).

Account Holds

Do you have a hold on your account which would prevent you from registering? You can check to see if you have any holds through Student Services on my.pitt.edu. Follow the pathway: Link to Student Center > Self Service > Campus Personal Information > Holds.

Writing Course search engine

Search for a writing intensive course. Instructions: Under General Education requirements (right side), select "W - Writing Intensive " and then click '2101'.

Alternate Course Section on enrollment form

To increase your chances of getting into a desired course especially H/SS electives, communication skills electives, recitations and labs, be sure to complete the alternate course section on the enrollment form.

Admission to Closed class or restricted class

In order to enroll in a closed or restricted course, please obtain an Admission to Closed Class or Restricted Class form available in room 648. Complete form then take it to the course instructor to request admission and signature. Return to room 648 with signed Admission to Closed Class or Restricted Class form and an Enrollment form to submitt for processing.

Registration Dates

Seniors: March 19, 2009 - July 8, 2009
Juniors: March 23, 2009 - July 8, 2009
Sophomores: March 24, 2009 - July 8, 2009

On July 8, Fall term registration ends for continuing students. After this date a $25 late registration fee will be assessed.

On August 31, Fall Term registration ends for all students. A special $35 service fee will be assessed to continuing students who register after this date.
