Curriculum VitaeHwang joined our department in 1968 upon completing his doctoral studies at Harvard University. He also has a master's degree from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and industrial experience in research engineering. He is a member of ASME and the Combustion Institute. He was awarded a NASA-ASEE Summer Faculty Fellowship, 1972, and the E.F. Obert Outstanding Paper Award for "Advanced Energy Systems" sessions at ASME WAM '87 (Coauthors: A.S. Kott and J.H. May). He has been awarded two U.S. patents. |
