Shared Manufacturing
Philosophy
The MAC operates under a shared manufacturing philosophy, which allows qualified users to rent time on any of the machines or software in the facility. Companies can verify new processes, conduct production runs and also set up prototype systems (e.g. automated material handling, advanced lighting systems.)
Sensibility
What would it mean for our region if you created a working, collaborative space where the manufacturing disciplines could get creative? What if you opened a laboratory space where entrepreneurs could develop and test new products? What if you removed the barriers to space and equipment that so often slow innovation?
