Learn to Use Volume Shadow Copy Service

This service has been tested and does work but may not be able to recover or restore your files. Snaphots occur every 6 hours at 12am, 6am, 12pm, and 6pm. Files created between snapshots do not have previous versions!

  • If using a personal computer (a computer not owned by the University) you will need to install the Volume Shadow Copy Client. IE Department computers have this software installed.

Access Server Stored Files from Non - Departmental Computers
