The University provides copies of software for free or at substantial
discounts to students, faculty and staff. Free software packages
can be obtained by downloading them from
http://software.pitt.edu. Some of these packages are available
on CD from Campus Computing labs like the one in Benedum Hall on the
10th floor. You must present your ID Card to the CSSD consultant
at the main desk and he or she will provide you with a single copy of
any of the following packages:
Office 2007 for Windows including Word, Excel,
PowerPoint, Access, Outlook and Publisher
FrontPage 2003 for Windows
Windows XP Professional Upgrade
Visual Studio .NET
Macintosh:
Office 2004 for Macintosh
