Laboratories Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) ApplicationsThe Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) Applications Laboratory within the IE Department is part of the University of Pittsburgh Swanson School of Engineering's RFID Center of Excellence. The lab complements the work done at the Center in the development of RFID technology by focusing its research on the development and implementation of RFID applications in areas such as asset tracking, supply chain management and logistics. Facilities include software and hardware for testing readers, tags and numerous applications. |
