Finding Your Niche

At Pitt Engineering, you have a range of specializations from which to choose. But you have plenty of time to learn about them because you don’t determine a focus until the end of your freshman year. Who knows? You might end up majoring in something you didn’t even know existed while you were looking at schools.

Minors and Certificates

Bioengineering, chemical, electrical, environmental, industrial, materials science, mechanical, petroleum, polymers, the Certificate in Product Realization, the Certificate in Energy Resource Utilization, and the Certificate in Sustainability are also available to all students.

Dedicated in 1971, Benedum Hall is home to exploration and discovery.
