Project Summary
Our project deals with finding a location for, and designing a public garden for the Hazelwood community.
We have to consider factors such as irrigation, sunlight, and the type of plant life to include in the garden.
We will also be studying soil samples at the prospective garden locations,
as well as people traffic (including type of people), and the amount of upkeep needed to sustain the garden.
Problem Statement
Determine a way to utilize vacant lots for the Hazelwood community with the establishment of a location
and a design for public vegetable gardens.
