Redesign of Online Transient Parking Map

Project Description-

    Team 06 will update and improve upon OTMA's current online parking map to account for changes in rates, times, and congestions rates. In addition, Team 06 will provide data which will enable the online parking map to obtain an interactive element. In doing so, OTMA intends to facilitate the parking process for commuters in the Oakland area, by not only providing information on designated lots, but also by suggesting adjacent lots, should the designated lot be filled.
Project Statement-

    The current data given by the OTMA parking map is out of date and lacking in details such as hourly rates, operating hours, and general contact information. Because of this, the OTMA has requested updated information for all 19 lots in Oakland. In addition to the update, the OTMA has received notice that there is no available navigation resource pertaining to the various lots for visitors and residents alike. Therefore, the OTMA has requested an interactive routing system for which visitors can safely navigate Oakland and arrive at their desired parking location in a timely manner.
