Team 1: Redesign of Health Clinic Space

Project Description

The Community Human Services Corporation’s Lawn Street health clinic is a poorly designed space that creates an unorganized, unprofessional, and inefficient workspace. While the employees seem content with their present situation the director of the organization, Adrienne Walnoha, believes improvements are necessary. The client wants to rearrange the health clinic space in order to provide the proper environment for a modern health clinic. Our community partner wants the new space to be both aesthetically pleasing and functional; making use of the limited space to meet their storage needs.

Problem Statement

Our team has been asked to address the inefficiencies in the current layout of the Community Human Services Corporation’s Lawn Street health clinic; the space needs to be redesigned and updated to a more professional and effective workspace. As of now the spaced is cramped, disorderly, and in some areas unclean. Our team hopes that with our improvements we can not only create an improved workspace, but also a more welcoming environment for patients.
