Envelope Analysis of Robinson Street Facility

Community Partner: Oakland Planning & Development Corporation:

Team:

Daniel Smilowitz, Monica Stalzer, Thomas Tessier, Philip Zucker

Problem Statement:

Working in conjuction with the Oakland Planning and Development Corporation, our team performed an envelope analysis of the apartment building located at 141 Robinson Street. This entailed examining the exterior structure of the building in a search for sources of heat transfer, inadequate windows, structural integrity, and any other problems that may arise. Once the problems were located, our team provided reccomendations to the OPDC for either fixing the problems or replacing the related component of the structure.
