Areas of Research

Research activities in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering are organized around three main areas:

Many of the current projects have a strong application component, in areas such as biomedical engineering and telecommunications. We also have collaborative research activities with faculty in the medical school, computer science, physics, telecommunications and other engineering departments.
