Thank you for your interest in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Graduate Program at the University of Pittsburgh. You will find the necessary application forms for admission and graduate assistantship on the School of Engineering graduate school page, or you can go directly to the online application.

Please download and print the necessary forms as indicated and follow the instructions below to complete your application.

Instructions

To be considered for admission, please complete and enclose in one-envelope the following:

  • Application for Graduate Study
  • Supplemental Application for Admission for International Students (if applicable)
  • Application fee ($50; DO NOT SEND CASH)

Simultaneously, you must arrange for the official transcripts of your undergraduate (and graduate, if any) academic records to be sent directly to the address below by the registrar of your school(s).

The following additional information is also required:

  • Official scores of the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) General Test
  • Official scores of the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) (applies to those students coming from schools where English in not the language of instruction)
  • Two letters of recommendation
  • Graduate Assistantship form (if you wish to be considered for financial assistance)

Financial Aid

If you are applying for financial assistance, your application package must be complete by February 1 for the fall term.
