Professional Interests

Dr. Jacobs is primarily interested in teaching courses, development of course and laboratory materials, and curriculum development. His areas of expertise include communication systems and theory, radar systems, detection and estimation theory, optimal receiver design, and software development for signal processing applications. He teaches a wide variety of courses and regularly advises senior design and undergraduate research projects.
