Guangyong Li received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Michigan State University, East Lansing, Michigan in 2006, M.S. in Aerospace Engineering from Beijing Institute of Control Engineering, China Academy of Space Technology in 1999, and B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Nanjing, China in 1992. From 1992 to 1996, he was a mechanical engineer at Beijing Institute of Space Machinery and Electronic Engineering, China Academy of Space Technology. From 2000 to 2001, he was a research scholar in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, the National University of Singapore, working on mobile robot control and neural network control. He has published more than sixty technical papers in refereed journals and conference proceedings. He is the co-inventor of one awarded patent and five pending patents. He received the distinguished IEEE Transactions on Automation Science and Engineering 2006 Best Paper Award. Currently, his research interests include micro/nano robotics; scanning probe microscopy; fabrication of MEMS/NEMS, nano-devices, biosensors; control theory and applications; bio-electrical engineering in cellular biology and proteomics. . |
