Course Description & Objectives

In this 3-credit graduate-level/advanced undergraduate-level course, we will introduce the concepts and techniques of embedded computer system design including requirements, specifications, design implementation and testing. Topics may include, but are not limited to, "C" language, top down iteration for assembly language programming, data structures, I/O software structures and real time operating systems.

Prerequisite

Basic digital system design knowledge (e.g., ECE/CoE 0142) is assumed. All-levels of graduate and advanced undergraduate (juniors and seniors) students are welcome.
