About Us Facilities

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering has several teaching labs, conference rooms, and equipment available for use by the faculty and, in some cases, students.

Conference Rooms

Room 330: Seats approximately 10-12 people. Includes an overhead laptop projector, white board, and projection screen.

Equipment

Two laptops with projectors, a television with VCR, and overhead projectors are available for faculty checkout.

Teaching Labs

Room 360: John A. Swanson Computer Interfacing Laboratory. This lab contains 12 computers and includes a semicircular desk area and an overhead laptop projector. Classes taught in this room include ECE/COE 1185.

Room 361: John A. Swanson Embedded Computing Systems Laboratory. This lab has nine computer work stations and a semicircular desk area. It also contains an overhead laptop projector. ECE 1160/1161 are taught in this room.

Room 367: Jurenko Laboratory. This is the main laboratory for COE students. There are 24 computer workstations. Courses taught in this room include COE/ECE 0501 and COE 1502.

Room 368: The main electrical engineering computing laboratory. This room contains 12 computer workstations. Courses taught in this room include ECE 1201, ECE 1212 and ECE 1563.

Room 370: This lab contains 24 Windows and Sun workstations and seats 48. Classes taught in this lab include ECE 1192/1193 and ECE/COE 1186.
