About Us ABET ECE/COE 1896Senior Design Progject(3 credits) Description : A full-term project involving definition, literature search, prototype design, construction; with written and oral reports. Prerequisites : Senior status or permission of instructor. Required Texts : none Course Objectives: Provide students with an in-depth design experience. Students implement design projects through teams. The teams define the project and prepare a proposal that includes a plan for implementation and evaluation criteria. The projects are formally presented to the class and to the entire Department at the Senior Design Exposition, a program presented at the end of each fall and spring term. Topics Covered: varies Class/Laboratory Schedule : varies Professional Component Contributions : Prepares students to deal with open ended design projects, evaluation of alternative solutions, project planning and evaluation, and working in teams.
