Programs PECAP CollegeAAANAfrican American Alumni NetworkThe School of Engineering (SOE) African American Alumni Network (AAAN) was developed to establish a professional and social community between alumni and current students at the University of Pittsburgh. The AAAN seeks a strong voice within the SOE. This centralized network allows alumni to remain in contact with each other, while also connecting to the African American student body in the SOE. Alumni members provide invaluable mentorship by either serving as a point of contact to current students, or by attending events hosted by the University of Pittsburgh Chapter of the National Society of Black Engineers. The AAAN provides alumni or students with mentoring, networking opportunities, professional development, and lifestyle support, while maintaining a strong sense of community. |
