Professional Interests

Mr. Voigt is registered both as an engineer and a surveyor in Pennsylvania and is a practicing Civil Engineer in Pittsburgh, PA, area. His career has been with private consulting and with the Port Authority of Allegheny County, which operates the mass transit facilities in the Pittsburgh area.

Mr. Voigt has returned to consulting and teaching after retiring from the Port Authority. Norman has performed design, construction, and maintenance responsibilities on highway and transit projects, including managing the bridge inspection program for the Authority's 73 bridges. For more than 25 years, he has taught sections of the Civil PE review course given by Penn State University.
