Professional Interests

Keith Johnson is Director of Transportation Planning for URS Corporation's Pittsburgh Office. He as 19 years of experience in planning and management of long-range transportation planns, Congestion Management Systems Planning, as well as Traffic and Travel Forecasting on both the corridor and regional levels.

Prior to joining URS, Keith was the Manager of Transportation Projects for the Southwestern Pennsylvania Commission (SPC). SPC is the MPO for the Pittsburgh Metropolitan area.

Recent and current projects Keith has participated in includes Long Range Transportation Plans for Allegheny County, PA, Morgantown, WV and Erie County, OH. Keith is also working with PennDOT on Statewide Bicycle / Pedestrian Planning and the Toll and Revenue Forecasting for the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission's Mon/Fayette Expressway and Southern Beltway Expansion Projects.
