The Campaign for Engineering How Can I Help? The Campaign for Engineering represents an enormous and ambitious challenge that requires support from all our 25,000 alumni, along with our corporate supporters and friends. Since this is such a tremendous task, all forms of support are welcome. Here's what you can do: Make a Gift—It sounds simple, but a gift from you represents the greatest potential resource for the school. About 10 to 15 percent of our alumni population gives to the school annually. When you consider the size of our alumni base, it is clear just how quickly gifts at any level can add up to have a tremendous impact on the quality of our academic programs. Making a gift has never been easier. Make your gift to the school online now through the Pitt Giving Web site. If you have considered making a major gift to the school of $25,000 or more, but have questions about how to make your gift arrangements or designate your support within the school, please call 412-624-2458. The staff of the Office of Development and Alumni Relations can answer all your questions about philanthropic support, including planned gifts such as trusts, annuities, and estate plans. Help Us in Your Area—We regularly travel to nearly all the major U.S. cities to visit with alumni and major corporations. We are always looking for opportunities to help arrange an event for Dean Holder to host that also helps alumni build their local networking base of contacts. Volunteers often make these events happen, and images from the events can be seen in our Photo Gallery. |
