Board Of Visitors Outstanding Faculty Award

Each year the Swanson School Board of Visitors presents an award to the outstanding faculty person as determined by the Board of Visitors Awards Committee.

For four of the past five years bioengineering faculty have been the recipients of these awards, in particular:

• 2007–2008: Professor Mark Redfern
• 2005–2006: Professor Savio Woo
• 2004–2005: Professor Michael Sacks
• 2003–2004: Professor Sanjeev Shroff

Faculty awardees are selected based on their contributions to the five priorities of the Swanson School:

• Quality in Undergraduate Education
• Quality in Graduate Education
• Revenue Generation
• Innovative Research
• Diversity
