Study Abroad Opportunities

Swanson School of Engineering students can participate in the following types of study abroad programs: 1) Full academic year, 2) Semester, 3) Summer, and 4) Short-term programs.  All of these options allow you to earn academic credits that can be applied to your engineering major.

   One of the most popular programs with Swanson School of Engineering students is the Plus3 program.  This program is offered to freshman engineering and business students and is a short-term education abroad experience offered during the first two weeks of May. Freshman engineering students who earn a 3.0 and above by the end of the fall semester are eligible for a$500 scholarship to apply to the cost of this program.
